Back in October I was given a {free} copy of the book: iChoose To Love My Life by the wonderful team of women over at iBloom. While I had heard of this book and the unique weekly video study back in the summer, I did not want to join in “mid party” so to speak, so I put the book on my Amazon wish list and considered participating in ’13.
Little did I know that I would meet some of these women at the Allume conference in October ’12 and then join their team of ibloom ambassadors with the hopes of not only gleaning from their joint years of experience but also be able to encourage other women, like me, who may be searching for some guidance in our lives.
From iBloom: Our iBloom team is on a mission to inspire and empower every woman on the planet to live a life she loves and ultimately live a life that honors God.
We live in a day and age where there are many “things” vying for our attention. We *want* to be at peace and have joy in the daily living we do, but it is a challenge, isn’t it? HOW do we, as busy wives, mothers, home managers, employees, business owners, church workers, and Jesus lovers DO this?
HOW do we find that peace, pleasure, and purpose in our day to day life?
God of course has ALL the answers in His book, so that is where we should begin. Pray and ask Him to show you the “who, what, where, why, when, and how’s” in your life. He has a GREAT plan for you, you know!
Then, we need to sit down and take inventory of our lives and start making CHOICES. <-click
I don’t know about you, but facing different “stages” in my life (marriage, children, changing churches, changing careers, the empty-nest, etc.), often brought to surface an abundance of questions. So many that I have felt overwhelming at times and became stunted…stiff…unable to make progress because of of the disorganization in my head!
In all honesty, I wish I had a book like iChoose to Love My Life back when I was first venturing out into the big world!
Sometimes “we human beings” need the encouragement and wisdom of those that have gone on before us as well as those that are on this journey with us. <-click
That’s what makes this book and the video series so amazing. A young person starting out in life would be so blessed by this series of prompts/questions/tasks and weekly videos because it will help direct them very specifically and personally to discern HOW to CHOOSE to LOVE the life they are living right now…as well as lay a solid foundation for their future “life”. Yet it is not “canned” or overly formulated.
What about *me*you may ask…meaning the one that is NOT so young (hem hem) and not just starting out, but maybe re-starting or entering a season of change? I think the book is equally helpful. I mean who could not benefit from searching out answers to things like time management and budgeting (the *common* queries) to creating a theme for your life and embracing “self-care” without the guilt! Each chapter encourages you to make a choice like:
- I choose to: Forgive
- I choose to: Operate In My Strengths
- I choose to : Be Still and Listen
- I choose to: Appreciate My Past
And there are FIFTY-TWO of them! Each one has a challenge/task that gets you really thinking and paying attention to your life.
Now here’s your INVITATION! Join me, the iBloom team, and dozens of other ladies as we start 2013 off with a New Year Party! On Tuesday, January 8th at 8 PM (ET; 7 PM CT; 6 PM MT, 5PM PT)
the iBloom team has put together an on-line party to ring in a new year of positive, intentional, full of LOVE your life living. It is FREE and all you need to do is follow this link and register:
Did I mention registration and the weekly video are free? There is also a membership option which gives you access to an online community and monthly group coaching as well as discounts in the iBloom store. It’s crazy affordable at $1 a week (if you sign up for the year). The women are so welcoming, sharing life/business advice, sure-fire prayer, and laughs as well.
I hope you decide to join this year-long study. There are some amazing bloggers that are sharing this information this week so you may catch the buzz all over the net!
Will you choose to join! If so, let me know and we can encourage and pray for one another!
{Disclaimer: Yes, I was given a book free to review; and yes, I am an affiliate so if you buy a book using the link above, I will benefit slightly from it. BUT I would NEVER give a rave review or be an affiliate to something I did not think was worth your precious time/resources! The book is just $10 and while it is awesome to have, the videos are free whether you have the book or not.}

If I had started the book last year I probably would not have thought to join in this year and the blessings I have gotten so far are pretty HUGE :0). I so appreciate you stopping by my little place on the world. One of my “cyber goals” for this year is to comment more on other blogs.
