This past week we were challenged to “Have a Theme” for our year. Something you feel the Lord is laying on your heart to REALLY focus on. My theme is tied into My One Word which is “VISION“. Since I already posted on that, I thought this would be a great way to just be “out there” and let you all know me a bit better!

GYF= Grace Youth Fellowship which is the same youth group listed above.

Four

Only when the hubby kisses me.

SAHM hoping to figure out some sort of career within the next three years when I will be an empty nester!

Sort of. Did the “traditional” home education for about 14 years. Now we use a cyber school on-line program.

Snowcamp at Word of Life in Schroon Lake,NY and twice our local church rented a camp for a week in the summer.

When I was 12 years old, my little sister was born. She brought so much happiness into my life :0).

Mom will be the first to say she was not into “cooking” so I guess pretty much anything I make these days. I get to make the in-laws dinner regularly so I hope she will tell me if I am slacking in that area!

WordPress all the way!

OM—GOSH!!! No way under ANY circumstances! Even if you have green fungus toes no socks with sandals!!!!!

Picked up a free WP theme, but dream of my friend creating the perfect one for me!

Impossible to choose. I am a clean freak.

HAHAHA…about an hour from where we currently reside. The heart of the Poconos Pennsylvania!

No way! Had a HUGE wedding with 16 in the party….not including me and the hubby!

We are not sports people, but since I am from Brooklyn, NY, I HAVE to say any team that plays for NY :0).

From 16 on.

About 5 years ago…but only seriously since August of 2012.

Those in my Mastermind and Better Blog/Writer groups on Facebook. If I tried to list them and then forgot one I would feel horrible so there is my “list” :0). Of those I do not know personally http://rosylittlethings.typepad.com/ Posie Gets Cozy is my all time favorite “happy place” on the web!

Nope…unless you consider Jersey it’s own country.

No…other than my life I suppose :0).

51. What’s the story behind your blog name?

I am a NYC Chick at heart. I moved with the fam to the woods of PA and though it is a lovely place to live, I am still a City Chick in the Country.

The local theater has a “2 for 1” deal on Tuesday nights. We can see a movie for $9 and have a few bucks to get a small order of Chinese for dinner!
